as all games etc dont use 4g or less win win7 65bit or 2.7g in xp If you got 8g ram, 4+g can be uses for eboostr.
I use it to cache my ssd +_1 of my hdd only(steams games) Highly recommend.(esp it helps on lifesan of ssd+ hdd) The software give more controll on what you want to cache (drive letters_)+ excludes think+ acc programs. works like the ssd cache boost in this chipset feature. It cached +hdd + ssd(helps stop where in tear.) and is faster than the ssd or+ hdd. I use extra ram(unmanaged memory) or in win7 64bit (memory after 4+g used for eboostr i use a eboostr program to cache hdd =- ssd(in raid 0) Strange it did not ? or is it able to raid using sata3? (wondering if you can get that new sata 3 500mb/sec ssd + put 2 in raid 0 on the chipset?. If anyone knows how I can make the System work correctly and configure my desired RAID0 so I can re-install windows that would be much appreciated.
#Troubleshooting eboostr install#
I tried many drivers off the bundled mobo disk at the point in the windows install where you can "LOAD FILE" to get RAID/SATA controllers working ect. When I returned the BIOS to "IDE" not RAID the install of W7 圆4 worked fine on 1 of the SSDs, and all the drives work fine in windows: Then I gave up tried to install W7 on 1 of them just for a test, but it said windows could not be installed to this drive (at the point in the install where you choose the drive) W7 could not be installed to ANY drive while RAID was selected in the BIOS, (sorry for the pic quality, one handed camera while pressing CTRL+I to enter configuration utility)Īs you can see it now only recognises 1 SSD, not 2. Then I save settings and reboot, this page reads all the drives correctly: Just finished my new build last night with:Ģx Intel G2 80GB SSDs (this is what I am trying to RAID0)Īnyway, the build went perfectly, POST first go (woo me)
